1:18 1967 Shelby Mustang Review

This is my 1:18 scale 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500. Its one of the bigtime muscle series by Jada released in 2006.
My first impression out of the box was its a great looking model but not much detail aside from the body. The hood, trunk and doors open with dogs legs and the wheels do not turn (Which is with all the bigtime muscle cars). The scale and proportions are a hair large and more like a 1:17. The parts fit tight to the body and the paint is awesome. All around appearance of the exterior is good. It shows true lines and contures on a slightly modified body but retains the classic look of a shelby mustang. The rear end and grille was done pretty well. The undercarriage and exhaust is weak and shows hardly any detail. The same goes for the engine compartment, not much there really. The interior is not to bad, they took time to do a little painting, two tone seats, a couple decals for gauges and the rest is chrome plastic assents. The tires and rims are pretty cool if your into that big rim look. Rubber tires and plastic chrome wheels.
Over all I do like the model but I did not rate it real high scoring a 5.5 out of 10
